Junior forward Davis DeKorte scored for the second time this season but the Lake Forest College men's hockey team was defeated 3-2 by Milwaukee School of Engineering at home Saturday night.

DeKorte's goal gave the home team the early lead just 91 seconds into the opening period. He was assisted by sophomore defenseman Ryan Kruss and sophomore forward Drew Cleereman. The Foresters doubled their advantage at the 8:52 mark when sophomore forward Bron Loiselle let the lamp for the eighth time this season.

MSOE netted the only goal of the second period at the 9:48 mark and then tied the score at 6:13 in the third. The visitors pulled ahead with 4:26 to play and held on for the victory, despite the Foresters pulling their goaltender with 1:58 remaining in the contest.

Lake Forest out-shot the Raiders 27-21 in the contest.

The Foresters, who won 3-2 Friday night, had to settle for a split in the weekend series and are now 9-6-0 overall and 5-5-0 in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play this season. MSOE improved to 5-5-3 overall and 2-4-2 in the league.
