Senior defenseman Travis Hill's first goal of the season was the game-winner Friday night in the Lake Forest College men's hockey team's 3-2 victory at Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Hill broke a 2-2 tie with just 5:28 remaining in the third period. Sophomore forward Vito Aluia and junior forward Billy Kent assisted on the only score of the period.

After losing the lead twice earlier in the contest, the Foresters held on and improved to 9-5-0 overall and 5-4-0 in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play. MSOE fell to 4-5-3 overall and 1-4-2 in the league.

The visitors also scored the only goal of the first period when freshman defenseman Zach Feldman lit the lamp for the second time this year at 7:27. The only power play goal of the night was set up by Hill and sophomore forward Bron Loiselle.

After the home team tied the score at the 9:36 mark of the second period, the Foresters regained the lead just 72 seconds later. It was the seventh score of the season for Loiselle, who was assisted by senior forward Jack Lewis. MSOE, however, pulled even again at 15:34.

Lake Forest sophomore goaltender George Argiropoulos made 26 saves on the night and improved to 6-2-0 with a .911 save percentage and 2.67 goals against average on the year.

The Foresters had a 15-10 advantage in shots on goal in the game's first 20 minutes before being out-shot 9-6 in each of the final two periods and 28-27 for the game.

The same two teams will complete the home-and-home series in Lake Forest Saturday night at 7:00.
