Bobby Barrett Named NCHA Offensive Player of the Week Again

Lake Forest College men's hockey player Bobby Barrett was named Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday for his performance in a home-and-home series sweep of Marian University over the weekend.

Barrett, a junior forward, assisted on a goal during the Foresters' 4-3 overtime victory at home Saturday night. He then recorded his second hat trick of the season and added another assist in a 5-2 triumph in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, on Sunday. He scored to give the visitors 1-0 and 2-1 leads and assisted on a goal that put Lake Forest ahead 4-2. His empty net goal with 1:21 to play clinched the victory.

The five-point weekend gave Barrett the conference lead with 12 goals and 18 points in league play. He has a team-high 14 goals and 21 points overall this season.

NCHA Players of the Week are selected by the league's directors of sports information and public relations. Barrett also earned the award on November 12.
