The Forester men's hockey team was defeated 5-0 by visiting St. Olaf College on Saturday. The same two teams will face off again at 2:00 Sunday afternoon.
St. Olaf took the lead at the 10:41 mark of the opening period and added a power play goal at 2:31 in the second.
The Foresters were out-shot 33-13 in the first two periods combined but trailed by just two goals after 40 minutes of play.
The Oles pulled away in the third, scoring a power play goal at 7:16 and even strength scores at 11:13 and 11:22.
Lake Forest fell to 1-6-0 on the season while St. Olaf raised its record to 5-2-2.
