Lake Forest Falls at Marian University

The Forester men's hockey team dropped a 4-1 decision at Marian University Friday night. Sophomore Phil Bushbacher scored Lake Forest's only goal of the contest.

Bushbacher scored his team-high eighth goal of the season at the 16:28 mark of the third period. He was assisted by senior Tyler Gross and freshman David Milne.

Marian led 4-0 at the time after scoring twice in both the second and third periods.

Forester junior goaltender Marc Stuart finished the contest with 41 saves, including 17 in the second period alone.

Lake Forest fell to 4-13-1 overall and 4-8-1 in Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association play. The Sabres are now 13-5-0 overall and 10-3-0 in the league. The same two teams will face off again tomorrow night at 7:30 in Lake Forest. A live radio webcast of the game will be available at www.wmxm.org. It will be the Foresters' annual Alumni Night and the program's Peter Taylor Award will be presented between the first and second periods.
