Six Foresters Named to SLIAC All-Academic Team

The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference released the list of SLIAC All-Academic Team honorees for spring sports on Monday and six players from the Lake Forest College men's golf team were included.

To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have reached at least sophomore status in academic standing, attended their current institution for one full academic year, and maintained a 3.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale

Forester seniors Jack Dwyer and James Johnson were recognized for the third time. Both players are majoring in finance with a concentration in accounting and have also earned Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar honors during their collegiate careers.

Junior Tyler Nielsen, who is also a finance major but with a concentration in economics, made the list for the second year in a row.

Sophomores Luke Duffer, Jared Gerger, and Andrew Gravino earned the award for the first time. Duffer and Gerger are also finance majors while Gravino is studying political science.
