For his top 20 finish at the Jim Wetherbee Memorial Invitational over the weekend, junior Jack Dwyer was named men's Forester Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
Dwyer finished tied-for-17th out of 116 golfers at the invitational, which was hosted by Knox College at Soangetaha Country Club.
Dwyer shot a 79 on the first round in challenging weather conditions—30 mph winds and feels-like temperatures of 18 degrees. In his second round, the weather was not much better, and he shot a 75. He finished with a score of 154 and four birdies on his card.
Forester Athletes of the Week are voted for by the athletic department on Tuesdays.
