Rob Wennington is in his first year on the Lake Forest staff in 2019-20 and will work with the team's post players. He will also be involved in the staff's recruiting and opponent scouting efforts.
Wennington comes to Lake Forest after serving as the athletic director at Guerin College Prep in River Grove, Illinois. Prior to Guerin Prep, Wennington was a men’s basketball graduate assistant at Northwestern University, where he assisted Head Coach Chris Collins in all facets of the program.
Prior to his time at Northwestern, Wennington spent three years at Catholic Memorial School in Massachusetts. There he served as an assistant athletic director, assistant boy’s basketball coach and an English teacher. During the 2014-15 season Wennington helped lead the boy’s basketball program to a D1 state championship.
Wennington graduated from Boston College with a degree in communication and was a member of the school's football team. He was born and raised in Lake Forest and attended Loyola Academy.
