Luke Norcia

Luke Norcia joined the Forester coaching staff prior to the 2022-23 season. He assists the head coach in all aspects of the program.

Lake Forest posted an 8-8 record in Midwest Conference play in Norcia's first season with the team. The Foresters field goal percentage was the highest in the conference while First Team All-MWC guard Alex Knight and senior wing Johnny Roeser led the league in scoring and rebounding, respectively, during MWC games. Guard Elijah Bull ranked second in assists per contest.

Norcia spent the previous two years as an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, his alma mater. The Eagles were 29-10 overall and 14-6 in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play in those two seasons combined. They also reached the second round of the 2022 NCAA Division III Tournament.

Norcia also appeared in the NCAA Tournament as a player for Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2019. He played in 68 games during his collegiate career and started 26 contests during his senior season. He shot nearly 43 percent from three-point range and led the team in assists and steals that winter.

As a player at nearby Highland Park High School, Norcia earned All-Central Suburban League accolades and was an Honorable Mention All-State selection as a junior and senior. He was also an all-conference football player.
