Joe Maggiore

Joe Maggiore is in his second year with the Foresters after joining the coaching staff prior to the 2017-18 season.

Lake Forest posted a 17-9 overall record and 13-5 mark in Midwest Conference play last season. The Foresters advanced to the four-team MWC Tournament but fell to the hosts and eventual champions of the event in the semifinals.

Maggiore came to Lake Forest from Miami University on Oxford, Ohio, where he filled numerous roles for the men's basketball program for five years. He was a student manager for the Redhawks from 2012-15 and helped with day-to-day operations. He also assisted the equipment manager during his junior and senior years. In 2015-16 an internship with the team allowed Maggiore to become more involved and he began viewing game and practice footage, arranging summer camps, and organizing road trips. He then became the team's director of video operations in 2016 and coordinated the exchange of video throughout the program and with opponents. He also oversaw student managers and served as an academic liaison to the players.

Maggiore's on-court experience also includes instructing at camps hosted by several major universities and working with youth at the Shorewood Recreation Center near his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

He resides in Chicago.
