Jamayne Potts

The 2019-20 season will be the first for Jamayne Potts with the Foresters and ninth at the college or high school level. He will work specifically with the team's perimeter players and be involved with recruiting and opponent scouting.

Potts comes to Lake Forest after serving as a successful high school coach in Southern California for the last four seasons. He served as the head coach at Village Christian High School in 2018-19 and led the program to a 10-win improvement from the previous season. Prior to Village Christian, Potts was the head coach at Burbank High School for three years and led the Bulldogs to three straight CIF Southern Section Playoff Championships and 62 total wins.

Prior to coaching at the high school level, Potts served as an assistant coach at California Institute of Technology for four seasons. He has also has coached with BTI Basketball Club since 2012 and will remain with the club while with the Foresters.

Potts graduated from Bethany University with a degree in business management and was a member of the school's basketball team.
