Foresters Earn Team and Individual Academic Honors from NABC

The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on Thursday announced the recipients of the 2022-23 NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards and NABC Honors Court, representing outstanding achievement in the classroom by collegiate men's basketball teams and student-athletes.

Lake Forest was one of more than 300 programs to earn NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards in 2022-23. In addition, among the more than 1,800 players listed on the NABC Honors Court were Forester seniors Johnny RoeserRocco Ronzio, and Frank Siegien, as well as juniors Jamal Clarke and Zach Foster.

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize men's basketball programs that completed the academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

The NABC's academic awards include honorees from all levels of college basketball.
