The Lake Forest College men's basketball team was defeated 75-68 at Ripon College Tuesday evening and has one more game remaining in the regular season.

The Foresters led 63-57 after sophomore guard Rocco Ronzio's career-high-tying fourth three-pointer of the game with six-and-a-half minutes to play. The Red Hawks outscored their guests 19-5 the rest of the way, however, and improved to 15-8 overall. They remain tied-for-first in the Midwest Conference standings at 11-3 in league play.

Ronzio was one of four Foresters to score in doubles figures. Senior guard Sean Espinosa led the way with 16 on 8-of-13 shooting and he added a game-high eight assists to his stat line. Sophomore forward Frank Siegien shot 7-for-10 from the field and finished with 14 points while junior wing Johnny Roeser turned in his eighth double-double of the season with 10 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.

The visitors made exactly half of their field goal attempts while Ripon was at 46.8 percent on the evening. Ripon's advantage came at the free throw line, where the home team outscored Lake Forest 11-2.

The loss dropped the Foresters overall record on the season to 9-15 and conference mark to 8-7. They will close out the regular season against Grinnell College at home on Saturday needing a victory and help from elsewhere in the league to qualify for the four-team MWC Tournament.
