The Forester men's basketball schedule for 2021-22 was released on Wednesday.
Lake Forest will open its 25-game season at Aurora University on Friday, November 5, and will also visit Illinois Wesleyan University and North Park University in the following five days.
The Foresters' home opener and Parents Day game will be played against the University of Chicago on Saturday, November 13.
The team will also host Wheaton College and Millikin University, and meet the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at JustAgame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells in non-conference play during November.
Lake Forest will take on each of the other eight schools in the Midwest Conference twice in 2021-22, beginning with a road game at Grinnell College on Saturday, November 20. Monmouth College will be the Foresters' first MWC opponent at home on the final day of November and December will begin with another trip to Iowa to face Cornell College on the 4th.
After hosting the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater before the holidays and make the trip to Elmhurst College at the end of December.
January's eight conference contests include four games at home and four on the road. The Foresters will take on Knox College twice during the month, complete their season series with Cornell and Monmouth, and take on Beloit College, Illinois College, Ripon College, and Lawrence University for the first time in 2021-22.
The final month of the regular season includes two home contests and a pair of road games in the first 15 days. The Foresters' opponent in their first conference game of the year will also be their guest in the last as Grinnell visits for Senior Day on February 19.
The top four teams in the standings will gather for the MWC Tournament February 25-26 with the winner earning the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
Under eighth-year head coach Ken Davis, Lake Forest has advanced to each of the last five conference tourneys and won the event in 2019.
