Senior guard Sam Husting knocked down four more three-pointers and shared team-high honors with 14 points Tuesday evening in an 88-71 loss at Ripon College.

Husting now has 59 three-pointers this season, the seventh-high total in team history, and his 186 career three-pointers rank fourth in team annals.

Senior wing Aram Arslanian joined Husting with 14 points on Tuesday while junior guard Sean Espinosa and freshman guard Aidyn Albright each finished with a dozen. Junior wing Michael Drew Jr. led the visitors with six rebounds and Espinosa with seven assists and four steals.

Lake Forest shot just 36.4 percent from the field while Ripon was at 48.06 percent. The Foresters outscored the home team 33-21 on three-pointers but were out-rebounded 48-29.

A 19-6 Ripon run in the first half turned a two-point lead for the Foresters into an 11-point advantage for the Red Hawks, who went into the locker room at halftime ahead 40-31.

Ripon scored the first five points of the second half and led by double figures for all but 30 seconds of the period.

The loss dropped the Foresters' overall record to 12-11 and Midwest Conference mark to 9-7. Ripon improved to 17-7 overall and 13-4 in the league.

Lake Forest will play the last two games of the regular season at home, taking on Cornell College Thursday evening at 5:30 and Grinnell College Saturday at 1:00 p.m. A victory in either contest would clinch a spot for the Foresters in next weekend's MWC Tournament
