The United States Handball Association announced recently the winners of the 2020 Ben and Sue Delaney Scholarship and Lake Forest's Majesty Umoye was one of the recipients.

To be eligible for the scholarship a collegiate handball player must either be attending school in Arizona or Illinois or have grown up in either state. The intent is to reward students with good academic records who also demonstrate financial need.

Umoye, a sophomore from Lagos, Nigeria, came to Lake Forest from United World College in Costa Rica and just completed his first season on the Forester handball team. He is an economics major and a member of the Dean's List at the College.

Fellow Lake Forest handball players Matthew Chu (2015) and Quinn Jagodzinski (2019) have received the same scholarship in past years.
