Four Foresters were in the field as Lake Forest hosted the annual Joe Ardito Contenders Tournament over the weekend.
Junior Devin Peters and freshman Collin Peters began the event with victories in the Open round of 16 before falling in the quarterfinals. The younger brother went on to win the A Division, prevailing 21-8, 21-18 in the final.
Seniors Brandon Sanchez and Quinn Jagodzinski were defeated in the opening round. Sanchez posted a victory in the B Division quarterfinals before being eliminated while Jagodzinski was knocked off in the B quarterfinals and C semifinals.
The Foresters' next tournament will be the Milwaukee Classic, which runs December 5-8.
