Anthony DerManulian Named Academic All-District®

The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced its 2021 Academic All-District® football teams on Thursday and Lake Forest College's Anthony DerManulian was among the honorees.

DerManulian, a senior offensive lineman, is a double major in finance and data science with a 3.87 grade point average. He earned Academic All-Midwest Conference honors in 2018 and 2019 (there was no award in 2020) and was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society last year.

On the field the three-year starter at tackle earned First Team All-Midwest Conference honors and was named MWC Offensive Line MVP in 2021. The Foresters rank 15th in the nation with 44.2 points per game and tied-for-18th in the country in fewest sacks allowed.

DerManulian also helped lead Lake Forest to a 10-0 overall record and 9-0 mark in MWC play this fall. The Foresters captured a conference title and are making just the second NCAA Division III Playoff appearance in program history.

He will now appear on the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot.
