For his performance in Lake Forest football's Midwest Conference Title-winning victory against University of Chicago, junior quarterback Tre Stewart was named the men's Forester Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
Stewart led the Forester offense, completing 11 of 16 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown and running for 64 yards and a score on 13 carries. His was the last scoring drive of the game and secured the win and the championship for the Foresters. His quarterback efficiency rating of 165.7 this fall is the best mark in the MWC and ranks 22nd in the country.
The Forester Athletes of the Week are voted for by the athletic department on Tuesdays.
