For his performance in the game against Knox College, junior Dante Eposito earned the Forester Athlete of the Week honors.
Lake Forest forced three turnovers in their match-up with Knox, including the third and fourth interceptions of the young season for Esposito. He ended the opening drive of the game with an interception at the Forester 10 yard line and returned it 61 yards.
The cornerback also recorded a tackle for loss in the game when he stopped a rush play by knocking the Prairie Fire running back out of bounds.
The Forester Athletes of the Week are voted for by the Athletic Department every Tuesday.
