The Lake Forest College football team's fall 2021 schedule was released on Monday.
The season will begin with a night game at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday, September 4. It will be the team's only non-Midwest Conference game of the season.
The Foresters will begin league play at home against Lawrence University on September 11. It will also be the team's annual Heroes Day game and men and women in the armed forces and first responders will be honored before the contest.
After a trip to Knox College on the 18th, Lake Forest will have a week off before welcoming Cornell College for Homecoming on October 2.
The team will also play at Illinois College, Ripon College, and Monmouth College and will host Grinnell College in October. The Foresters will then celebrate Senior Day and Parents Day against Beloit College on November 6 before closing out the regular season against visiting University of Chicago on the 13th.
The Foresters won all three of their games during an abbreviated season this spring. Next fall will be the team's 13th under head coach Jim Catanzaro, who is 63-50 overall and 45-33 in league play during that time.
