Alex Pasiewicz Earns another Forester Athlete of the Week Award

Lake Forest College football player Alex Pasiewicz was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday after scoring five touchdowns in the Foresters' 53-13 victory at Grinnell College on Saturday.

Pasiewicz, a senior wide receiver and kick returner, bcame the first player in program history to catch four touchdown passes in a game. He scored on a 77-yard pass play in the first quarter and then reached the end zone on a pair of 12-yard receptions and a 71-yarder in the second. Pasiewicz also returned a punt 59 yards late in the first half for his fifth touchdown of the day.

With three kickoff return touchdowns and two scores on punt returns this season, Pasiewicz is tied for the national lead in both categories. The Foresters' top receiver on the year with 865 yards on 53 catches has also reached the end zone 11 times on pass plays. He ranks fourth in the country with 192.9 all-purpose yards per game.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays. Pasiewicz also earned the award twice earlier in the season.
