Alex Pasiewicz Makes Second Appearance on National Team of the Week

Lake Forest College football player Alex Pasiewicz was named to D3football.com's Team of the Week on Tuesday for his performance in the Foresters' 34-27 victory over visiting Lawrence University on Saturday.

Pasiewicz, a senior wide receiver and kick returner, scored the Foresters' first six points of the contest on a 100-yard kickoff return. It was his third kick return touchdown of the season and fourth of his career, which are both program records. Pasiewicz added kick returns of 22 and 41 yards and his 163 kickoff return yards on the day are also a new team record, as are the 1,359 yards on kickoff returns he has posted in his career.

In addition to his exploits as a returner, Pasiewicz also converted two fake punts in the game. He rushed for 27 yards on 4th-and-4 early in the second quarter and for 13 yards on 4th-and-11 in the fourth. Pasiewicz also accounted for two more points in the game by catching a pass for a two-point conversion just before halftime.

The D3football Team of the Week is comprised of a starting lineup on offense and defense as well as a kicker, punter, returner, and special teams player. Pasiewicz also earned the honor on September 20 and Forester players have now made the list 19 times since 1999.
