D3football.com released its 2014 All-North Region teams on Monday and Lake Forest College's Pat Clark was a Second Team selection.

Clark, a junior safety, tied for third in the Midwest Conference with five interceptions and 27th in the league with 66 tackles on the year. He picked off a pass in half of the team's 10 games and tallied 74 return yards on the season. Clark made at least four tackles in every contest and six or more in six games, including a career-high 10 against visiting Monmouth College on October 18.

After just three seasons, his nine career interceptions rank ninth in team history. He has also recorded 131 tackles in his career, including 5.5 tackles for loss. Clark has also recovered a pair of fumbles and broken up 16 passes over the last three years.

The last four Foresters to be named all-region by D3football.com were defensive backs. Cornerback Ed Dobernig earned the honor last season, safety and current assistant coach at the College Luke Butts in 2011, and cornerback Keith Hanson in 2006.

Lake Forest finished the 2014 season with a 4-6 overall record and a 2-3 mark in MWC South Division play. The Foresters are 18-10 overall and 17-6 in the league in Clark's three seasons on the team.
