Men's Rugby

The Men's Rugby Club at Lake Forest College is historically the most successful club on campus. In the past 15 years, the Club is 74-21-5, has 6 undefeated seasons, won the Tournament of Champions Tournament in 2005 and 2009, were the runners-up in 2006 and 2008, and won the CARFU Cup in 2011. With an emphasis on safety, proper technical rugby, and fitness, the club has earned a reputation of producing excellent rugby players, evidenced by our players' participation in All-Star teams from the collegiate level all the way up to the US National Team.

“2011 CARFU Cup Champions”

At the beginning of each semester there is an opportunity for interested students to sign up for any club sport at what is called the Involvement Fair. If a student decides to come to Lake Forest he/she can attend the Fair in the fall and/or spring and sign up for a club sport then. The Fair takes place in or behind Commons, depending on weather, within the first two weeks of classes. First-year students do not need to do anything before arriving at Lake Forest in order to participate in club sports.
