In conjunction with NCAA policy and Illinois law, Lake Forest College and the Department of Athletics have developed specific policies to the address name, image, and likeness (NIL) activities of student-athletes.
Lake Forest College supports student-athletes receiving compensation for the use of their name, image and likeness from sources outside the College.
A student-athlete’s failure to comply with this policy may result in penalties imposed by the NCAA and/or the institution that could impact the student-athlete’s eligibility to participate in intercollegiate athletics.
Student-athletes will need to disclose any NIL activities seven days before committing to said activities. To do so, please complete the fillable form below and email it to Associate Director of Athletics for Budget and Compliance, Chris Pier (cpier@lakeforest.edu). A follow-up meeting will then be scheduled to discuss your proposed NIL opportunity.
