Honore enrolled in Lake Forest College in the fall of 1994 and became one of the most accomplished running backs in school history. His 31 career rushing touchdowns were still a program record at the time of his induction and his 2,922 rushing yards ranked second in team annals. He amassed more than 1,500 all-purpose yards during his first two years as a kick returner and backup running back and earned Second Team All-Midwest Conference South Division honors his second season. Honore took over as the team’s primary running back and ran for a team record 1,455 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior. He reached the end zone in every game that season and surpassed 100 yards on the ground seven times. His most productive game was a 320-yard, six-touchdown performance at Beloit College in the season finale, a 54-40 Forester victory. Honore was named the team’s Most Valuable Player and the MWC North Division Offensive Player of the Year after the season. Honore had six more 100-yard games and ran for a total of 855 yards while earning First Team All-MWC North honors as a senior. In addition to his career rushing total, he added 280 receiving yards and 975 yards on kickoff returns.

Honore graduated from the College with a degree in business in 1998. He then achieved professional ranking in natural body building and became a certified personal trainer.
