The Lake Forest College Department of Athletics recently released the 2023-24 winer sports schedules on goforesters.com.
The hockey teams will start things off by taking on Saint Mary's University on Friday, October 26, with the men playing at home and the women on the road. Swimming and diving will travel to Carthage College the next day.
The basketball teams will open the 2023-24 campaign at home with the men going up against Lakeland University on Wednesday, November 8, and the women hosting the Forester Invitational that Friday and Saturday. Handball will also be in action in the Sports and Recreation Center November 10-11 while competing in the Joe Ardito Contenders Tournament.
Indoor track starts competition December 2 at Carthage College's Forever Red Alumni Classic. It will be the team's only event of the fall semester.
Championship meets and tournaments for each of the College's winter sports will take place in late February, beginning with the Midwest Conference Swimming and Diving Meet at Grinnell College February 16-18. The quarterfinals of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Harris Cup (men) and Slaats Cup (women) Playoffs will also take place that Friday and Saturday at the higher seed in each match-up.
The Foresters will also compete in the U.S. Handball National Collegiate Championships February 21-25 and that weekend also features the MWC Indoor Track and Field Championships at Ripon College and the MWC Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments on the campuses of the respective regular season champions.
