Clerkin ranks 10th in program history with 947 career points, despite missing the final 16 games of her season due to injury. Her 580 rebounds, .542 field goal percentage, and 89 blocked shots are also among the program's best marks. She was named First Team All-Midwest Conference and the Foresters' Most Valuable Player as a sophomore and junior and captained the team her final two seasons. Also successful in the classroom, Clerkin earned Academic All-MWC honors three times and was named Second Team Academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America after her junior season. Lake Forest was 49-15 in league play and captured a conference title during her career. She was coached by Jackie Slaats throughout her collegiate career.

Clark scored 1,493 career points, the fourth-highest total in team history, and ranks seventh in team annals with 804 rebounds. He also set school records with 101 blocked shots and a .648 field goal percentage during his four years at the College. A three-time team MVP and first team all-conference selection, Clark was also voted MWC Player of the Year after leading the Foresters to a league title as a senior. D3hoops.com made him a Second Team All-Region selection twice and his performance as a senior earned him Second Team All-American honors from the National Basketball Coaches Association and a spot in the Reese's Division III College All-Star Game. The Foresters posted a 44-24 record in the MWC and were coached by Chris Conger during his career.

Canal's 129 career points are the program's highest total since 1993 and he ranks ninth in team history in that category, seventh with 76 assists, and first with 8 short-handed goals. He was Lake Forest's season leader in points and assists three times each and paced the squad in goals twice while racking up 53 tallies overall. The two-year team captain was an Honorable Mention All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association selection following his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons and is still the only Forester to be listed among the league's top players three times. In addition, Canal's teammates selected him as the recipient of the program's Peter Taylor Award in 2006. Tony Fritz was the team's head coach throughout his four years at the College.

Herring graduated with a program record 63 goals and 103 points and still ranks second and fourth, respectively, in those categories. Her 28 goals and 25 assists in 2009-10 were school records at the time, the 53 points are still the most by a Forester, and led the nation in points per game that season. Herring was a First Team All-NCHA selection and earned First Team West All-American honors from the American Hockey Coaches Association after leading Lake Forest to its first NCHA title in 2010. She was also named Honorable Mention All-NCHA as a freshman and senior. After winning a total of 17 conference games in the five years before Herring's arrival on campus, the Foresters were 39-26-9 in the NCHA during her career. She was coached by Carisa Wahlig.

The addition of Clerkin, Clark, Canal, and Herring will increase the Lake Forest College Athletic Hall of Fame membership to 254 individuals and three teams. Their inductions will take place during a ceremony the morning of Saturday, October 8, and they will also be recognized on the field at halftime of the Forester football team's Homecoming Game against Illinois College that afternoon.
