Scot Reinhart to Serve as Foresters' Interim Head Tennis Coach

Scot Reinhart, an assistant men's and women's tennis coach at the College since 2017, will serve as both programs' interim head coach for the spring semester. He replaces Raquel Vescovi, the head coach of both programs for the last four-and-a-half years.

The Forester men's and women's tennis programs have posted a combined overall record of 104-54 and a Midwest Conference mark of 44-7 since Reinhart joined the staff prior to the 2017 spring season. The women captured a league title in the fall of 2018 and made the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance the following spring. Both programs have advanced to the finals of the four-team MWC Tournament twice and qualified for the event each year it was held since he came to the College.

In addition to his role at Lake Forest, Reinhart also served as the head coach of the boys and girls tennis teams at Lane Tech High School in Chicago.

Reinhart played at nearby Elk Grove High School and for two years at Harper College before earning his bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona.

"I'm honored and very excited to be given this opportunity," began Reinhart. "I'm really looking forward to building on the great success the teams have experienced under Coach Vescovi and I the last few years."

"Coach Reinhart has been extremely valuable to our tennis programs in his role as assistant coach," commented Lake Forest College Interim Director of Athletics Blake Theisen. "We are very fortunate to have such a qualified individual already on staff and I am confident there will be a smooth transition as he takes over the programs."
