Lake Forest College Football to Host Community and Alumni Day on Saturday, September 22

Members of the community are invited to the Lake Forest College Football Community and Alumni Day on Saturday, September 22 as the football team hosts Lawrence University.

In order to make Community Day special, we are excited to provide opportunities for both youth and families to enjoy. These opportunities include free admission to the game for all youth (12 and under) who wear their school or club jersey or who create a sign supporting a Forester, photos with Boomer the mascot, and participation in a halftime contest.

All faculty and staff, along with their families, and Forester students will all receive a free concession item (shave ice or hot dog) and also have the opportunity to win some great Forester raffle prizes! In addition, all F.A.N. Club members will be able to enjoy shave ice for free!

In conjunction with Community Day, as members of the Midwest Conference, the football team will support and recognize the Playing For A Cure initiative. This initiative aims to promote awareness for early detection of cancer and raise funds dedicated to cancer research and prevention. At the east end zone of the field, fans will find a Playing For A Cure table where they can learn more about the cause, make a donation, and shop special pink apparel.

Kickoff is 1:00 p.m. at Farwell Field, 250 W Washington Street, Lake Forest, Illinois 60045.
