Forester Athletics To Host Community Night On January 30

The Lake Forest College Athletic Department is excited to once again host Forester Community Night on Tuesday, January 30th at the Sports and Recreation Center. Forester Community Night is held each year to increase interaction between departments on campus and with members of the Lake Forest community.

This fun-filled evening will include a social in the Tiernan Trophy Room for F.A.N. Club members and faculty and staff beginning at 5:00 p.m., a scrimmage featuring the GLASA wheelchair basketball team at the women's game, halftime performances from the College's spirit squads, a 3-round basketball contest consisting of a layup, free-throw, and 3-point shot, and doubleheader Midwest Conference basketball action against Beloit College.

A shuttle service will be available for commuters at 6:00 p.m. and will run every 30 minutes until 9:00 p.m. from the Sports and Recreation Center to the downtown Lake Forest Metra Station. The men's basketball game begins at 5:30 p.m. and the women's game will follow at 7:30 p.m.
