Join the Lake Forest College football team for Benny Watters Community Day on Saturday, September 30 as the Foresters host Macalester at 1:00 p.m. at Farwell Field.
Benny Watters Community Day is in honor of the football team's little brother Benny Watters (pictured right), a Friends of Jaclyn adoptee, who passed away in 2010. Benny was diagnosed with a DIPG on January 18, 2008 a few months before his 3rd birthday. Just two months after receiving the diagnosis, a non-profit foundation, Benny's World, was established in March of 2008 by his family. The foundation seeks to fund research to find a cure for pediatric brain stem tumors, specifically targeting Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).

Children aged 12 and under can receive free admission to the game by either wearing a team or camp jersey or new this year, by creating a poster that supports Forester Football. Youths will also have an opportunity to participate in a half time musical inflatable chair contest.
We hope all members of the community can join Forester Football for a fun-filled day that will include photos with Boomer, halftime entertainment, and an exciting game!
