The Forester basketball teams begin Thanksgiving Week with their Midwest Conference openers against visiting Beloit College on Tuesday.
The women's game is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by the men's game at 7:30. Both Lake Forest teams are coming off losses on Tuesday and Saturday of last week while the Buccaneer women are 1-1 and the men 2-0 on the young season. The Forester men and women swept the season series against Beloit in 2015-16.
The Forester men's hockey team will be on campus over Thanksgiving and will host Nazareth College Friday night at 7:00 and Saturday afternoon at 2:00. Lake Forest won two out of three games last week and is 5-4-0 on the year. Nazareth enters the series at 4-3-1.
The only other contest over the weekend is the men's basketball team's game at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Saturday evening at 6:00. The Foresters will be looking to avenge last year's double-overtime season-opening loss to the Pioneers, who won all three of their games last week.
