Forester FANS In Chicago Celebrate Historic Year

On Wednesday, August 7, the Lake Forest College Athletic Department hosted the 2nd Annual Forester FANs in Chicago event at the Tenant Lounge on Wacker Street.

More than 100 Forester fans gathered to reconnect with members of the Athletic Department, former teammates, and fans of Forester Athletics while enjoying appetizers, drinks, and beautiful views of the skyline and river! Guests toasted to an exciting year ahead and celebrated the Athletic Department's impressive success from 2018-19, which was highlighted by three league championships, a conference tournament title, and five teams represented in championship competition. The Forester FANs in Chicago event would not be possible without the support from alumnus Ken Ottaviano '92. The department thanks Ken for playing a huge role in the success of the event and also the establishment of a new Forester tradition at the College.

Those in attendance also had the opportunity to sign up for the Forester Athletic Network (F.A.N. Club), an organization that supports Forester student-athletes and programs initiated by the Athletic Department. This year marks the club's 25th anniversary and in an effort to build momentum surrounding the club, all faculty and staff members and young alumni (students who have graduated within 5 years) are eligible for a 50% discount on Individual, Family, and Gold memberships!
