Help Forester Women's Hockey Light the Lamp in Red and Black

The Lake Forest College Athletic Department is excited to promote a “Red and Black Out” for the Forester women’s hockey game against Adrian College on Friday, February 17 at 7:00 p.m. This game is exceptionally important for the Foresters as two wins in the weekend series with the Bulldogs would clinch a conference title, the third in team history.

During the game, the team’s parents will be recognized for their support of the athletes, program, and Lake Forest College Athletics.

Additionally, following the conclusion of the game, Athletic Council, Forester Fanatics, and the Student Programming Board will sponsor a fun game of broomball on the ice. Broomball is similar to hockey in that the object of the game is to score more goals than the opponent, however different in that goals are scored by using a broom and no equipment is required except for street clothes and sneakers. Students interested in playing are asked to collect a ticket from members of Fanatics who will travel around the stands in between the second and third periods. The ticket will be used to solidify a spot in the competition and will be used to create teams. Delicious hot chocolate will be provided to those who choose to participate and all competitors will have the opportunity to win spirited Forester prizes!

We hope all students, staff, faculty, and fans can help us pack the stands in Red and Black attire to support the Foresters in their pursuit of another conference title.
